When I first moved to Leeds as a student in 1987, through lack of preperation on my part, i found myslef living in a non-student house and Tony was one of the other residents and a smashing housemate he was; he rarely did the washing up but brewed wine that stripped the light from your eyes and took the wind from your lungs. Thanks for the positive feedback Steve – I will pass on your suggestion to ride leaders and see if they can provide an approximate short cut mileage. I assume you mean where people can take the train back? There is also the ‘breakfast option’ where people join the ride as far as the breakfast stop and then return by their own route. If anyone is planning to do this remember to bring a map so you can find your way home!

Hello,

I’d like to say that the new website design is a massive improvement on the previous one both in terms of the layout and the ability to give feedback.

Having attended the social rides for sometime an extra bit of information for new riders which might useful could be the distance for each ride if riders take the short cut. This may encourage more people to give the rides a go.

What a amazing post! I did a kind of blogging for dummies over on one of the CPA Marketing forums and I thought it was too easy for them, but the quantity of emails I got asking questions just like what you addressed was incredible. As young people nowadays we have grown up with computers, but it’s easy to forget that even individuals just a a couple of years older have not! Really good post!

I’ve been involved in taxes for longer then I care to admit, both on the personal side (all my working life!!) and from a legal standpoint since passing the bar and pursuing tax law. I’ve provided a lot of advice and righted a lot of wrongs, and I must say that what you’ve posted makes perfect sense. Please keep up the good work – the more people know the better they’ll be equipped to deal with the tax man, and that’s what it’s all about.
